I was very excited on Wednesday night to see the launch of the Artemis 2 mission to the moon, I was actually watching a replay from a few hours before the launch on Nasa TV and nearly missed the real thing, but thankfully I realized my mistake and switched over to Sky news to watch the launch happen in real time, and caught the countdown, it truly felt like I was watching history.

I have been waiting a long long time for us to go back to the moon, stupidly I thought we would have had a moon base already built by now, I was expecting the 1990’s to be the decade of space exploration, but sadly that never happened, but better late than never, it’s all GO now, so we should start building the moon base by 2030, and we will have humans on the moon hopefully by summer 2028, China and other countries will also be going soon, maybe a bit later, but I’m sure they will get there too.

India in fact should be lunching humans into space in 2027, and Scotland is to finally use its SaxaVord Spaceport in Shetland is soon to start lunching satellites
